LOGLINE:
During autumn in a bleak part of South Jersey, two hard-living friends
become involved in the high-stakes world of football gambling.
SYNOPSIS: The PRINCE OF JERSEY
takes place in a bleak corner of South Jersey during autumn. Two
rough, hard-living friends, Paul and Robbie, spend their days working
to collect the fallen leaves and drink their nights away at the
local bar. Paul is struggling to save enough money to pursue his
dream of a deep-sea fishing business in Florida. Robbie lives only
for the excitement of football gambling, earning extra cash as a
bookie. One day, a man walks into their bar
with a strange proposal,
setting into motion a chain of events that will change their lives
forever...
The PRINCE OF JERSEY is a USC thesis film. It was shot entirely
on location with a local cast and resources.
